Prospects college, Basildon one the first advanced technology colleges in the United Kingdom, was supplied with MID Lighting's SPACE continuous range. The overall aim of the project was to create a comfortable atmosphere for students to promote learning in an educational environment.

The college required a continuous lighting system that met the buildings lighting needs but maintained a stylish look. Furthermore, additional luminaires such as the MIVP range was supplied, as the IP65 body of the product was suitable for the storeroom areas within the college, including workshop areas that may be hazardous or contain high levels of dust. A number of MID's products were supplied to the project as well as the MIR700, MISLS (Solaris) and the MID130 downlighter.
