The ceiling types in Thames Clipper were unusual in comparison to more traditional ceiling styles, as the building was created from numerous recycled shipping containers. The surface wafer fittings were perfect for the unusual ceiling type, as the integral components of the LED fitting were unnoticeable once the fitting had been fixed to the ceiling. The surface wafer gave satisfactory lighting levels to the kitchen.
